Island Buoy Posted November 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2013 We are starting our cruise in Buenos Aires next March (staying for 2 days) and our first two ports of call are in Uruguay. We do not want to have the Yellow fever vaccine but will we be allowed into Montevideo and Punte del Este without a certificate?

Despegue Posted November 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2013 If you have visited a country recently that has Yellow fever, ( African countries mostly), then an inoculation certificate is required. This is however valid for almost all countries. No yellow fever in Argentina and Uruguay, and they want to keep it that way. If visiting a country where Yellow fever is active, you DO want to be vaccinated by the way.
