Draper #1 Posted November 5, 2013 Going on a New Years Eve cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse. What can I expect to see as far as the ship decorations? Will they still have Christmas decorations up. Will they do anything special to celebrate New Years Eve?
Phxazzcruisers #2 Posted November 5, 2013 They will have several parties at several locations throughout the ship. It has always been a good time celebrating New Years Eve aboard X

genslim47 #4 Posted November 5, 2013 We did Eclipse last New Year, as has already been said the Christmas decorations will still be up, hats etc will be provided at dinner and there will be plenty of parties, the main one being on the pool deck where the hot tubs will be filled with ice and 'champagne' and the captain will be present to welcome in the New Year. Just hope you don't get a short Caribbean downpour as we did just before midnight. Enjoy your cruise I am sure you will have a great time.

Pennstatedj #7 Posted November 5, 2013 We were on a NY eve cruise last year. Parties are set up around ship and televised like abc does from different venues. Christmas decorations are everywhere. They do have one special show late in the cruise that was done during Christmas week that was special. Great show do not miss if they do it. It was done during the day. Have fun. We may dome along. We are looking for a deal for NY eve cruise as we speak.
Tiggertastic #8 Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) We were also on last new years eve The decorations stayed until the end of the cruise, a few did start to disappear near the end of the trip but it was 2 weeks that sailed out on the 29th December There were numerous parties indoor and out - they gave away hats, blowers etc during dinner and made new years eve formal night the live band went non stop for 4 hours outside It did rain but we were having so much fun we just got wet Have a wonderful time, we are back on the eclipse for new year next year (doing another line this year) Edited November 5, 2013 by Tiggertastic
