connes1 Posted November 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2013 Does anybody know how to tell the location of the couch in the stateroom. We prefer the couch by the balcony and the bed by the bathroom but there seems to be no clear way of telling where the location of the furniture is. Any help in this matter would be much appreciated. connes1 Posted November 5, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted November 5, 2013 I did not realize that all the rooms were laid out the same. I thought some have bed by balcany and some by bathroom. Dan-P Posted November 5, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2013 Only Oasis & Allure have alternating beds/couch. We had a Junior Suite on the Majesty and the couch was by the balcony and the bed was by the bathroom. We again have a Junior Suite booked for our upcoming Independence cruise, and from my research, it too has the bed by the bathroom and the couch by the balcony. Maybe Junior Suites differ from other balcony staterooms in this regard though? Dan.
cb at sea Posted November 5, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2013 Yes...JS's have the seating area by the balcony. They do not alternate....it's just the way they are set up.
connes1 Posted November 5, 2013 Author #7 Share Posted November 5, 2013 The state room we have is a d1 In my experience the d1 alternates couch and bed locations. I know on the Allure and the Oasis ships the couch is by the sliding glass door for d1 staterooms when there's a sleeper couch in the room. We normally would have booked a junior suite but it was way too expensive. We are traveling with a 3 year old and he takes naps so the bed location is super important.. If it was just me and my husband we wouldn't care about location of furniture. Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk
