Two Island Snorkel and Beach Safari excursion

HI there!

We'll be docked in St Thomas on Jan 7, and I'm trying to find a good snorkeling excursion. I was looking through the Carnival excursions, and came by the "Two Island Snorkel and Beach Safari by Fastcat" excursion. I like the idea of two snorkel spots, as opposed to just one, which is what most excursions do. We did the catamaran thing last year, so I'm not really particular on what the boat is like. Has anyone done this excursion??? Thanks in advance!!!

I'm thinking of this excursion too for my cruise in January so I hope someone responds. I wanted to do a private excursion but the times dont work for me. Most get back at 4pm and I have a 4:30pm all aboard.

I even emailed with the people who run the excursion and they answered all my questions. The only issue I have is I want to go to St. Johns and they don't go there :( but he did tell me that the sites they go to are beautiful also.

I hope someone comes here and gives it a good review. St. Thomas is our first stop and I'd love to start off the cruise with a nice excursion.

Good to know, thanks for the info...I thought it said they did stop in St John...guess I need to work on my reading skills haha. I'm a little worried that no one has responded...does it mean it's a bad/unpopular excursion, or maybe is it just newer????

Here is the response I got from them when I emailed.

We go to Honeymoon Beach on Water Island after we snorkel at Turtle Cove. It is a great excursion on a great boat. The tour can be booked straight through Carnival and we hope to see you and your group soon. Thanks for the email.

When I asked about Honeymoon Beach they replied:

Do an image search for Honeymoon Beach on Water island. I like that Water Island much better than Honeymoon Beach in St John.

It does get good reviews on the Carnival.com website. I'm still considering it but with 3 excursions already, I may have to take it easy in St. Thomas to save a few dollars.

Thanks for the info!!! We went to Honeymoon Beach on Water Island last year, and we're trying to avoid excursions that go there. It was an asbolutely beautiful beach, but the snorkeling was non-existant. I guess that makes up my mind! Thanks a lot for looking into it, enjoy your cruise!

I'm not much of a snorkeler so I guess I won't know whats good or bad. I'm more put me on a boat, give me a drink and let me relax so this may work for me still. :)

Enjoy your cruise also.
