GGBNJ130 Posted November 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2013 This multi part question goes out to anyone who has been on NCL Breakaway, and plays slots: A: Are there penny slots onboard NCL Breakaway? B: Are there WMS/IGT slots onboard NCL Breakaway? C: Do you remember the slot machine names? I specifically am looking for WMS Colossal Reels (Colossal Wizards, Giant's Gold, Van Hellsing, Li'l Red, ect), WMS G+ Deluxe or Life Of Luxury Deluxe Beir Haus...WMS Clue, Willy Wonka, ect. (If anyone remembers seeing those titles on the Breakaway reply below, i'm scared it's going to be like all those 777/Bar/Fruit Symbol machines w/ some unknown computer themed games made by Bally specifically for cruise ships) My choice was Vegas for 2 weeks, going on a cruise instead... nyc12345 Posted November 20, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2013 Yes, there were many penny slots, I think I saw Van Hellsing and Li'l Red.
vickila Posted November 20, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2013 Lots of slots. Big casino for a ship. Some like ORB very popularband hard to get on. Experiment. You will find something you like. On the Bahama run, the casino is open while on their private island. Great time as it is emptier. Vicki

I have been on Breakaway twice and think I played every slot in the casino. I don't recall any of the ones you listed, though. Lots and lots of multi-reel penny slots. One of my favorites was Hot Hot Habanero. Definitely no Life of Luxury. They are all newer video slots and many were lots of fun. Hope that helps. Also many Quick Hit machines. As others have said, lots of current slots and lots of penny slots. But, there are no Clue, Willy Wonka, or other very popular themed WMS slots (like Monopoly, Wizard of Oz). VideoTech Posted November 23, 2013 #16 Share Posted November 23, 2013 Is there something special about these machines? Just curious if I should seek them out? Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app No, they're just a normal multi-reel penny slot, with some fun bonuses. DW has done well on them in the past. GGBNJ130 Posted November 24, 2013 Author #22 Share Posted November 24, 2013 Many thanks for the link. No Prob., I can't wait to see if there max bets go up to $5 per spin like in Vegas, in Atlantic City, max bet on most of these are $2.50...That really doesn't concern me enough to bug WMS about it, i'm just glad it's not a casino ruled by Bally/IGT/Aristocrat, Bally being the major cruise ship bummer, I just do not like Bally machines...28 days to go, ill have my MacBook, iPad, and other stuffs and will try to get on here and post a LIVE FROM NCL BREAKAWAY thread...Odds are ill be too intoxicated first day and pass out by 9pm on the first night :D
