BenLynn Posted July 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2005 We will be in Cabo on October 15 arriving on the Summit at 7 a.m. and departing at 5 p.m. How is the fishing in October? Is there enough time to do a full day of fishing? Has anyone chartered a boat yet? Thanks for any information.
fish4ever Posted July 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2005 BenLynn, The fishing here in the Mexican Riviera in October is good fishing for Striped Marlin (possibly Blue Marlin and Black Marlin) if they have not moved out yet, Sailfish, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, and in Cabo you can also get Wahoo. As for how long you can fish in Cabo, that is the question. If I am correct, most cruise ships are there for a shorter time than the other ports. I am sure that if you looked around online, you can find some names of fishing fleets in Cabo and e-mail them. They I am sure will be more than happy to explain to you their trips for clients on the cruise ships and what they include... Hope this information helps... Have a great time. BalletDad Posted July 17, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 17, 2005 BenLynn, 7 - 5 is plenty of time to go fishing and it should be great in october. I suggest you contact Minerva's at www.minervas.com Minerva is a gem and she will accomodate your timing and will have her boat pick you up right at the tender dock. Have fun!
