always say when I in doubt...ask fellow experienced CC members....I always book a BD cruise in January a yr ahead....something to look forward to

For next year I am torn between 8 dy Eastern IOS or the 7 dy southern on Jewel

Both have ports I have not been... I have been on both these Class of ships (although not these two)... Departure port is not an issue..

Appreciate all helpful comments....

Happy New Year !!

IMHO, I would go for the Eight Night on the Independence. It all depends on how long you want to cruise, and what ship class you prefer better. Do you have the itineraries for each?

We've been on the Radiance and the Independence 8 day. While I'm a big fan of the Radiance class ships, we had a ball on the 8 day last year. Without getting into too many details, here is my review with pics of the Indy:

Loved Shipwreck beach in St Kitts, always enjoy San Juan and St Maarten is one of my favourite stops.
