Just a heads up for anyone who has used the Princess Kaiulani before and is thinking of using it again for a Waikiki stay:

It is closing 7/31/2014 for major reconstruction, not just a renovation. Various rumors around on whether it will comeback as the Sheraton, or be rebranded as a St. Regis or W hotel or even a Westin Vacation timeshare…
