dos equis Posted February 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2014 I asked this on another thread but it went unanswered. According to the benefits list on the NCL site, only the Epic and Sky are excluded from the Bronze level cocktail party. Can anyone confirm this? I'm traveling on the Breakaway with 2 others who are Silver (I'm also Silver) and another one is Bronze. I already told him there would be be a cocktail party for him to attend with us, but now I feel like I might be made into a liar... Thanks to any recent Breakaway cruisers that can speak to this. http://www.ncl.com/latitudes-rewards...s-and-benefits
Rare mizLORInj Posted February 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Pretty sure the party on Breakaway was silver and above Latitudes members.
JuneauWhatIMean Posted February 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Yeah, I've never heard of a Bronze anything except a ship's pin.
younglegend Posted February 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2014 It's silver and above, but here's a secret: no one checks at the door. Just walk in and enjoy....
johnql Posted February 7, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 7, 2014 It's silver and above, but here's a secret: no one checks at the door. Just walk in and enjoy.... I don't think that's always true. For my Breakaway sailing, they collected the invitations at the door. If you're not Silver+, you won't receive an invitation.
blindrid Posted February 7, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 7, 2014 It's silver and above, but here's a secret: no one checks at the door. Just walk in and enjoy.... Why? I have yet to go to one with invitation.
Godiva830 Posted February 7, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 7, 2014 On my BA sailing the if got an invite to the Lattitudes party and I was bronze. Maybe it depends on how many Lattitudes members are onboard? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

Maybe it depends on how many Lattitudes members are onboard? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app The Latitudes party is always for Bronze and above. But there is also another party that is only for Silver and above.
jrsegrl Posted February 7, 2014 #9 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Got off the Breakaway a week ago - 12 day cruise. Pretty sure there was only a silver and above party. They held it 2 or 3 times (we were given a time and day to go) because there were so many repeat cruisers. Don't think the regular latitudes party is held on the larger ships because there is no place to put everyone.
dos equis Posted February 7, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Thanks for the input everyone. Hopefully NCL updates their benefits listing to reflect what's actually happening on board. I always enjoy the latitudes party, just was wishing that our friend would be able to join us!

I was on the same cruise and you're right; my Silver party was a different day than my friends' Silver party.
spk9075 Posted February 16, 2014 #12 Share Posted February 16, 2014 when i was on the breakaway in august 2013 I was bronze and was invited. I was surprised because I thought it was silver and above. Not sure why but my mother and father in law were in the same situation, bronze level and invited as well.
