BayBay Posted March 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew what the gluten free options were for the Carnival Breeze? Are there options for Breakfast, lunch and dinner? We traveled with Royal Carribbean the last time and they had a good selection on their buffet and great dinners at night. Just hoping the Carnival is comparable and has some decent options..
lukydog Posted March 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2014 In the MDR let the person at the desk as you enter know that you are GF & they will send the hostess to your table. She will come to your table each night & show you the next night's menu & they will make pretty much everything GF...even the warm chocolate melting cake. (Hubby has never cared for GF bread & did not like the GF pancakes in MDR) If you plan on eating in the MDR for breakfast or lunch she can also arrange that for you. In the lido buffett we just play it by ear & just pick out food that we know would be safe. The pizza place can make a GF pizza for you ( we have had some trouble on other ships here with some pizza workers not understanding what we meant but just asked for the one in charge & he knew). I hear that Guy's Burgers now offers a GF bun. Hubby always just ate his & asked for no bun. I have also read that the Italian restaurant can do GF. We think Carnival does a really good job concerning a GF diet & we also will be sailing on the Breeze for the first time this September.
