getting excited to cruise on the Oasis 3/22. Even more so following megacruiser's review. Went back to look at some pictures I took while on the Allure to get even more excited, and I thought I would post 4 of them.

Those photos are terrific. The one looking down directly above the Aquatheater pool has me puzzled because I can't think where it was taken from. It's a great unusual view.

Hi Megacruiser,

The picture was taken between the flowridders at the railing. I held the camera over the railing and used the "live view" to frame the picture. Thanks for the thumbs up on the pictures

Those pics were taken with a DSLR Nikon D50, entry level. I have upgraded to a Nikon D 7100 for my next cruise on the Oasis March 22.

I have the D50 too. I need to upgrade too. The D50 only holds an old-school 2GB SD card (not that I ever ran out of space).

 

I have a few nice lenses, and I would imagine Nikon has not changed their mounts, so I can still use my 70-300 beauty.

 

Mind me askign why you choose the D7100?
