Long Review Oasis of the Seas March 1-8 Family Vacation/Proposal - Aquatheater Suite

Chops

We love Chops. We always try to have a dinner at this restaurant when sailing Royal Caribbean. For tonight I pre-ordered a celebration cake to go along with the Romance Package. I was a little apprehensive since they told me the smallest cake served 20. But it worked out. I think 20 slices would have been really small pieces and took ½ back to our room. Dinner was very good as usual.

So I will start with a bit of food porn.

In addition to the engagement celebration it was my mother-in-law’s birthday. So of course we had to celebrate that too.

Trans am I too am booked on oasis in a aqua suite. This sounds crazy but I'm from old bridge originally now in Jackson and my suite can you guess is 10-730 thanks for info. I did read reviews about soot but was also told by rccl rep that it was taken care of. I got a few questions being in suite is it worth booking the shows was told suite guests get priority seating. Did my time dining is it best eating in room since full menu offered o main dining room? Or a speciality restaurant?

I saw your title and was just waiting to tuck into this once the proposal happened ;) Finally had some free time tonight. It's nice to see such detailed photos of the Aqua Suite...I'm an aft balcony lover myself...can't beat that view!

Enjoying your family centered review, congratulations to the happy couple! :D

So I'm a little curious about how the Oasis handles the heat of a Caribbean summer with an open air ship? You may be in the middle of the ship, but there is still no roof. I would have to assume they are blowing cool air into this space??

No cool air, it can be very hot in Central Park.

Cabana B2:

To give you some idea of proximity to water. I am standing very close to the edge of water to take this picture.

It is THIS kind of details that makes your review so interesting and helpful.

Thank you so much !:)

Laura ~ enjoying your review. Missed seeing you at the Meet and Mingle. Were you there???

Also I have a few photos of you and your party hanging the banner on your balcony. I took them from across the way on Deck 11 public balcony.

I did post a couple on the roll call thread. Oasis still delivered the WOW for me on sailing #7 ready for sailing #8 in October :)

Wow, small world. We live right off of route 9. We also have a house in Bayville. We booked all our shows in advance, but IMO did not need to. They never took our reservation just waved us in. And yes, at least in the theater and ice show there were special seats for suite guests. It is really a matter of preference if you eat in the suite or dining room. We loved eating on the balcony, definitely take advantage of it on a few occoasions. We love Giovanni's and Chops. We thought it was worth the extra and also loved Johnny Rockets and the Seafood Shack for more casual dining. You are going to love the suite, just go in it with the right expectations. Feel free to ask me any questions you like and will try my best to answer.

You have left me speechless, thank you so much for your kind words. It is much appreciated. I will try not to disappoint with the rest. Glad you like it. I am enjoying writing it. I come from a family of authors, although I am a biophysical chemist, LOL.

Another question does the smaller bedroom have a tv so kids can watch tv and do they play movies and such.

Yes, there are 3 TVs, one in master, one in second bedroom and one in living room. This suite is truly outstanding.

Hi Emmy, So sorry we missed you and the meet and mingle. We were so busy preparing for the engagement we could not make it. It was bit stressful leading up to it. We had lots of prep. Also a bit difficult getting around with the moms so we did missed some stuff. We will just have to go back. I do feel really bad I did not get to meet anyone in person. We have also been very busy since our return, and I have been writing as you an see. Will check out our roll call. Thank you so very much. Hope to meet up with you some day!

We will be in a ATS in two weeks on the Oasis. When you ate on your deck did all the courses show up at once? I have read on here that they do. By the way love your review.

Yes they do. Enjoy. It is awesome. The balcony is as good as it gets.
