Renting Jeep at airport?

Hi,

 

I am wondering what people think about renting a Jeep from an airport location--is it worth it to have the vehicle for a longer period of time?

 

Alamo will let us keep a vehicle until late at night, but it requires getting to/from the airport. How far is it from the cruise terminal to the airport?? Is it worth the extra logistical hassle to be able to keep the car longer?
