This is what I was thinking of when I read your post. I hope the link works.

Also go to Celebration Cruise (not Celebrity) and read some info there. A friend of mine almost did this until I told her what I read on these boards. You can get a free cruise but I'm not sure it will be worth it.

I think they call the cruise line Caribbean Cruise Line.

Just received free cruise offer , anybody else get one? Is it a scam as I think it is? The offer came from a third party.

Here are the possible answers:

A) It is a great deal. Take it.

B) It is a good deal, with a few catches that are worth doing it.

C) It has too many catches, and probably not worth it.

D) It is a total scam.

Without just a bit more information, NOBODY here can help you.

I received a card in the mail a few yrs ago....they wanted you to listen to their sales pitch, and buy a time share. If it is anything like that, it was to good to be true. Just a word to the wise.;)

I got one yesterday for a 7 night / 8 day NCL cruise and here's a link to the cruise critic forum comments about the free offer I got: NCL "Cruise Advisor" Offer.

I also "googled" and found a trip advisor thread too but can't get the link to work.

My offer is in my shredder.

If the offer is coming from a casino rewards program that you had signed up for (NCL's Casinos at Sea, Caesars Entertainments Total Rewards, etc) then it's legit. If not, it's likely a scam or a marketing gimmick (timeshare sales, etc.).

We actually did the Bahamas Celebration cruise. 3 day 2 night. It was ok. We only paid taxes I believe. It was very reasonably priced. It was a fun cruise, but the 1st time I got seasick. The ship was reaaaallllly rocking and everyone was weaving as they walked.

We didn't pay for desserts. We had an outlet *shrug*
