Hard Rock Cafe or Los Olas?

My question is - which one?

We are a family with two teenage children. One is a vegetarian so I have already booked the Sublime Restaurant for one night (so looking forward to that!)

We have another night before our cruise and will have returned our hire car by then. So where should we go for our evening? Los Olas sounds interesting but the Hard Rock Seminole looks good too. Help appreciated!

I don't see how the Hard Rock would be fun for kids at all because of the restrictions of being under 18 but I could be wrong.

Also, the Hard Rock is more geared to adults and not kids.

Las Olas could work if they like to shop but I would definitely do the water taxi.

Sublime is very good.

I just don't see the attraction to Hard Rock. We ate in once last month in Prague and it was not good at all.

The OP is talking about the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Hollywood. The adult complex for gambling and live shows.

The Hard Rock Casino is a huge resort complex with hotel, gambling casino, shopping, lots of dining options, and live concert venue. Think Vegas resort in South Florida.

No one goes to the Hard Rock for the food even though I think it is quite good.

You'll enjoy Las Olas. We cruised out of Ft. Lauderdale several weeks ago and their were 10 of us, including two 18 yr olds and one 19 year old and we took the water taxi over from our hotel. We ate at the Cafe' Europa and everyone loved it. they have a number of vegetarian options. Great authentic Italian food, atmosphere, very nice wine list, varied menu, and excellent service. Our late teens really enjoyed this night before our cruise. ENJOY!:)

I like Café Europa but be forwarned it is expensive. I had lunch with the girls there the other day and I ate a salad and had two glasses of wine and with tax and tip, I spent $45. It was a lot to me for lunch.
