HAL's Copenhagen Hotels

Does anyone know which hotels HAL uses for Pre/Post cruises in Copenhagen? I heard it was the Scandic (although there are several by that name in the Copenhagen area). Want to plan sightseeing logistics and knowing the location of the hotel would be useful.

 

We booked a couple of nights pre-cruise in Copenhagen for our 7/18 cruise (wanted time to acclimate and see Copenhagen). Was lazy and did not want to hassle transfers so we just did the add-on with HAL. Now, with a month to go and no documents yet, I want to start finalize planning.

When we did this cruise 2 yrs ago on the Prinsendam,HAL used the hotel you refer too.Itwas the worst hotel and did not live up to HAL standers, that the hotel was around the corner from Tivoli Gardens,But taxi are easy to get and I would check the hotel there using.

We too will be on this cruise and staying one night at the Scandic(or wherever they put us). No docs yet. I too am anxiously awaiting them to plan details. The only report I've heard on this hotel seems to be the one posted above. I hope they have perhaps done some rehab.

Hopefully it will be better than Acruse's experience. Although, as long as there is somewhere to sleep of the jet lag, I'll be happy.

Got our Docs today. It is the Scandic. Like you said hopefully it will better now. I'll hop on the rollcall soon - didn't want in on the Red October discussion.
