Trying to choose between a standard balcony or deluxe balcony on the Regal.

It looks like the Deluxe has a small couch and 2 nightstands, and is about 18 sq.ft. larger. Has anyone been in both types ? thanx, Mike in CT

Hi Mike. I've been in both a deluxe and regular balcony cabin on the Royal. You are correct - the deluxe has a small couch, the regular only has a chair. While the extra bit of space is nice, I wouldn't pay a lot for it. The rest of the cabin is the same (unless you have an angled balcony, which is larger).

Deluxe balcony not worth the extra $$$.

I got lucky today, checked the Princess website and all of a sudden the Deluxe is the $ame price as the regular balcony for my sailing on Regal. Just got confirmation back on the cabin change - and it is an extended balcony !!

How does one figure out the extended balcony suites on the Royal/Regal?

Thanks,Karen

You will find them mid ships, aft, and forward on the deck plans. If you click on a cabin number, it will tell you what the cabin is, the size of the balcony and if it is extended.:)

Current sale is for a deluxe balcony at the price of a regular balcony.

I have seen at least one pricing where the obstructed deluxe balcony is priced lower than the obstructed regular balcony.
