We will have our two bottles when we board Aug 23 and plan on getting the two for our Aug 30 cruise on turnaround day...in San Juan. Can you buy wine in the Pan American Terminal? Yes, though the selection is not extensive. You are allowed 4 bottles when you board the first day of the first cruise when you're on a B2B: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/customersupport/faq/details.do?pagename=frequently_asked_questions&pnav=5&snav=2&faqId=5447&faqSubjectId=336&faqSubjectName=Food+%26+Beverage&faqType=faq Edited July 23, 2014 by clarea
britty1 Posted July 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2014 We took 4 onboard when we went on Jewel. Bought two at Walgreen's in San Juan near the hotel, then went thru security, got our sea passes then went to the duty free shop in the Pan Am Cruise Terminal and bought two more. No problems. We boarded with 4 bottles and if you want more you can get off and go and get more. :D
cruzfitter Posted July 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 23, 2014 You can buy wine in any port during the 1st half of your b2b. It will be sent to your stateroom on the last night of 1st cruise. That way you won't have to go off the ship looking for wine. You may even be able to have more than 2 bottles for cruise #2.

Rare John&LaLa Posted July 23, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 23, 2014 Some ships are catching this for consecutive cruisers. I've bought Bailey's in gift shop 1st week and picked it up on last night of first leg. It has been a while though Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app
In Toronto Posted July 25, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 25, 2014 Some ships are catching this for consecutive cruisers. Really? Because it doesn't seem quite right. RCI considers a B2B as 2 cruises so you would think that I could receive my confiscated wine and then "bring" it on for another cruise. If I bring on 4 bottles for the first cruise, I understand they will take 2 from me and return it the last night of my first cruise and I can use for my second cruise. Is that correct? Would really like to carry on only 2 for first cruise and buy for instance in San Juan and have them for second. Thanks. Ellen

Yes, that's the way Royal says it's supposed to work. Would really like to carry on only 2 for first cruise and buy for instance in San Juan and have them for second. No problem doing this. Thanks. Nix111 Posted July 25, 2014 #10 Share Posted July 25, 2014 Also we did a B2B bought rum from the onboard duty free on the last afternoon of first cruise expecting it to get taken and given to us at the end of the cruise however they just let us leave the shop with it! Needless to say we took it and drank it throughout the next week on our second cruise resulting in a much cheaper bar bill week 2! May be worth a try Sent from my iPhone using Forums

In Toronto Posted July 25, 2014 #12 Share Posted July 25, 2014 Thanks, Bob. I think that is what we will do - buy a couple of bottles in San Juan (1st cruise), they can take them, return to us for 2nd cruise. However, just thought - We are in San Juan on Thanksgiving - wonder if stores are open? St. Maarten might be a better place to buy - any thoughts? Ellen Don't know for sure, but stores here are open on Thanksgiving, though usually for a reduced amount of time. I would bet that the duty free shop in the terminal would be open.
