One night cruise

What to expect?

Business as usual or are most things closed up since it's a short voyage?

It's the MS Westerdam Seattle to Vancouver.

Because the boarding process is usually anything but pleasant - and debarkation is a dreary way to spend ones morning, I would not consider a one night cruise - and would have to wonder about the motivation of those who do - likely to be an up-all-night party.

And they also made announcements that since they got on the ship with only carry-ons, they were to be the first ones off the ship.[/SIZE][/FONT]

In our case, we'd only be using it as transportation from Seattle to Vancouver. We would be boarding a longer cruise in Vancouver.

If so, your total "voyage" would be a violation of the Passenger Vessel Services Act, and would not be allowed - whether you change ships in Vancouver or not. Edited July 25, 2014 by jtl513
