Rare rrraydon Posted August 3, 2014 #27 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Does this still apply if the last day of a cruise is your 25th? I'm 14 days away from Gold and we usually pick 7 day cruises, so if my calculations are correct, my 25th day will be the last day of my second 7 day cruise from now. That's the hope. :)
ah4sail Posted August 3, 2014 #28 Share Posted August 3, 2014 We weren't supposed to reach gold until the very end of our 8 day cruise in July, but we got gold cards at check in, pins in our rooms and the invitation to the past passenger party. stevethepirate Posted August 3, 2014 #29 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Not too many benefits in gold. The party and a pin. Here's the list. http://www.carnival.com/loyalty/benefits.aspx
Velvetwater Posted August 3, 2014 #30 Share Posted August 3, 2014 We had 12 days (1 cruise)with Carnival when booked out 13 day Panama Canal for 2 weeks time so we are officially gold on the last day. The day after I booked I checked my cruise documents and we were listed as Gold straight away (even with just deposit paid). If we are gold with only 1 cruise done and 12 days of free goldness (sort of) then I am sure the rest of you will be fine. :)
snc_cam Posted August 3, 2014 #31 Share Posted August 3, 2014 agree. the platinum status is where the loyalty bonus starts paying off. after the current 3 bookings, only 2 more away from platinum.

sjcruiser Posted August 3, 2014 #34 Share Posted August 3, 2014 (edited) On a previous cruise, we were set to reach Gold midway through the cruise, and received our gold S&S card at check-in, and we received the pin and VIFP party invite during that cruise. For our cruise in two weeks, we have three people that will reach Gold on either the second day, or the fourth day, and their boarding passes currently has all listed as gold.
