lovesthebeach2 Posted August 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2014 We booked room 8102. the RCCL agent almost forced us to take the room, he said it was one of the best on the ship. Take a look at it on the deck plans

We especially like the balcony staterooms on the hump such as 9078 and 9092 which have larger balconies. Convenient to the stairs and elevators and the aerial shows. lovesthebeach2 Posted August 19, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 19, 2014 Wow that balcony is huge!!!! That was the reason the agent "convinced" us to take that room ;)

We have been on Brilliance and the other Radiance class ships multiple times. The best balcony cabins are the aft facing cabins on 7-8-9-10. They are the same D cabins but have the biggest balconies on the ship. Two chaises, two chairs, table and walking around room to spare. If you can get one of the corner ones on 7,8, or 9 they have wraparound balconies.9256 is the best D on the ship IMHO.
cruisePAC Posted August 20, 2014 #8 Share Posted August 20, 2014 If you book a balcony on one of the sides (port or starboard), choose one on the forward hump or the midship hump. With these, you can stand on the balcony, look straight down, and see the water. With non-hump balconies, when you look straight down, you see the overhang that is above the lifeboats. It's a minor detail, but if you have a choice, choose the hump! :)
