Rough seas in February?

We are planning our third cruise for February 2015 to key west, Nassau & Freeport. We have previously sailed to Jamaica, grand cayman, Cozumel, Honduras and Belize. I've heard that, in general, the seas tend to be rougher on this itinerary . Is this true? Just wondering what to expect or if there was actually a noticeable difference?

We've cruised to the Bahamas many times and have never had any problems with rough seas. The roughest part is usually when you cross the Florida Straits, usually a few hours after you leave Florida, but sometimes you don't even notice it. It really depends on the weather.
