New York Hotel

Recommended Posts

Where you stay might depend on how long you will be in NYC and what you want to do while there. If you are flying in late the night before the cruise, you might as well stay by the airport and go to the port in the morning. If you will have most of the day to look around, a place in Manhattan might do the trick.

Please come to the East Coast Board and provide the following info:

1) exact dates a hotel is required

2) number of people

3) budget

4) airport you are flying into - date and arrival time

5) sightseeing plans in New York

6) Ship you are sailing on

There are a zillion hotels in New York, so you have to narrow it down. Usually your budget will limit your choices because NYC is super expensive. Hotwire can be great if you luck out on the dates.

There are also three cruise terminals in the New York area, so hopefully your airport choice has been good for your particular terminal.

I can think of only one Cruiseport shuttle that is offered from a hotel to the Brooklyn terminal. There are several hotels that offer a shuttle to Cape Liberty in Bayonne. Otherwise you're on your own to get to the port.
