Cabin location on the Triumph

Recommended Posts

Hello . First time Cruisers. I'm planing a February birthday cruise for my wife . My question is which is the best deck for a quite interior cabin. We don't want to listen to the dance parties or slot machines all night. thanks.

The quietest room I have ever had was on the Riviera deck, the lowest passenger cabin deck. Also deck 7, Empress deck should be good, since there are only passenger cabins beneath and above. Hope this helps.

We were forward on the Empress deck and it was quiet. The only downside was it could be a long wait for the elevator during busy times especially going down. The upside is that it's just two floors up to the Lido deck for the pools, buffet, pizza, etc. or two floors down to the Promenade deck with the casino, clubs, top entrance to the main lounge, so we used the stars most of the time.

I would also say deck 7 Empress. You have a floor of cabins above and below you to buffer noise from the lido deck and from the Promenade deck.. Go midships to forward for the quietest cabins.

Beware of deck 6, I would also stay away from the aft rooms on the lower floors due 1&2 due to engine/prop vibration and noise

Empress is always the best deck in terms of noise. You have cabins both above you and below you.

But I've stayed on other decks many times on the Triumph. Just be careful you don't get directly under the Lido buffet area. At 4AM they start moving stuff around and it gets noisy.
