Oasis - Central Park or boardwalk balcony

Recommended Posts

Central Park is pretty but there is not much action. If you want a tranquil environment you may like it. Boardwalk has much more going on an if you don't mind a bit of noise I think it would be much more entertaining and, depending on your cabin location, you may be able to see the ocean as well as the Aqua Theater shows.

We enjoyed an end BW cabin overlooking the Aqua theatre. Also had a large balcony (next to the living wall) CP cabin but could not use the balcony as it was hot and there was no air circulation. We would not book CP again.

Having been in both Central Park and Boardwalk cabins more than once. We prefer BW for reasons already stated. A word of caution tho. If you have a cabin on Deck 14, it is directly below the sports deck and depending on the activity above, can be constantly noisy

We had Boardwalk last year on Oasis and LOVED it! We were on Deck 14 with "obstructed view" which I still didn't really understand that since I didn't find any obstructed view. We were able to watch the movies in the Aqua Theater and some of the shows and events happening.

We were RIGHT under the mini golf and we didn't hear anything above us at night. And we were only two decks below Windjammer, so we took the stairs to get food. It forced us to use the stairs more since we were only one deck below the sports deck as well.

Plus our room attendant was AWESOME!

Some family friends had the CP balcony and said it was nice and quiet. And at night they opened their balcony door to hear the classical music coming from CP.

4th Oasis/Allure coming up next month and we have only done BW Deck 14. We have been under the basketball court, mini golf and the zipline (awesome pics). You get more noise from the carousel than the sports deck. For our family it is the perfect location as the sports deck, teen club, Windjammer, pool, and arcade (for the Freestyle soda machine) are only steps away.

For every other ship we make sure to do oceanview balconies since that's always a key component of the cruise, but on Oasis/Allure we're doing so many activities that we hardly even use the balcony.
