Viking Oceans: Australia to Europe airfare deal

We just confirmed via our TA that we are elgibile for Viking's current airfare deal, so hopefully this is of interest/use to other Aussies who have booked already with Viking Oceans.

 

We were at the Cruise Expo in Adelaide weekend before last and spoke with the Viking rep there about an airfare offer Viking are currently running for new bookings. She said that we are eligible for the $995 return economy to Europe offer as the airfare deals weren't offered when we originally booked a few months ago.

The booking has to be made with Viking before 31 October 2014 and paid in full then, although obviously in many cases they cannot actually book the flights until much closer to your travel. There is also the option to pay $200 extra if you want a stop over or to specify exactly which airline you want from their list of carriers.

It is such a great offer. We were told by our TA and have booked our airfares for our March 2016 cruise on Viking Star. We are having a stopover in Singapore on the way over to Istanbul. So good that we have been able to take advantage of this offer.
