Another insurance story

My brother and sister-in-law were only 3 days into a 3 wk tour of Europe from here in Canada. They were in Amsterdam at a Cafe'. She was sitting on a rather high chair with my brother standing behind her. She suffered an Epileptic seizure my brother caught her.

They rushed her to hospital by ambulance. Both my brother and sister-in-law were allowed a shared room while she had an MRI, CT Scan and other tests completed. It was discovered she has a brain tumor. It is benign.

They're grateful for the insurance they had. They were taken very good care of while staying 3 1/2 days at the hospital. My brother was also fed while there. The Insurance carrier provided a nurse to escort them back to Canada with a stop in Detroit. The nurse accompanied them right to their door.

They arrived home last night and will now file their claim. I'm hoping they had trip interruption insurance as well.

Travel safe, Travel covered.
