Howl at the Moon on the Epic

A group of us on a roll call want to get together at Howl at the Moon but we want to avoid schedule conflicts with dinner and show reservations. What time does the show start and is it every night

I would doubt if it is every night, since it hasn't been previously or on the other ships with that venue. You will likely have to wait until after Epic makes it's way to the USA and actually sails this itinerary, which it hasn't yet, before anyone will know which nights & what times this takes place.

It's not every night, but I believe it started at 10pm in the Med.

 

Also, I found the seating and sight lines to be awkward and not very conducive to larger groups enjoying the show together.

When we were on the ship earlier this year, it usually didn't start until later in the evening (9 or 10) and really didn't get rolling until later in the night.

 

This shares a space with Second City, so they will alternate using the venue.

 

If it seems crowded by the door, don't hesitate to push through the crowd and look for seats. On our cruise, people seemed to congregate at the doors (standing) and there were often seats available if you were willing to get deeper into the room.

So if there is only an early Second City show (at 7pm) on a given night, that would leave the venue open for Howl at the Moon later in the evening?

Headliner's Comedy Club, deck 6, forward.

 

Anyone taking the forward elevators to get to their cabin will walk right past it. We loved it back in Jan on the Epic. The nights it was up and going, we would stop there around midnight and listen for a few before heading up to our cabin. Usually it was going until at least 1a.

Howl at the Moon locations are usually 2 piano players going back and forth. With some playing other instruments. Not sure about on the Epic, but usually they are a very interactive/fun place to be.

I think Howl at the Moon played four or so nights when we were on earlier in the year. Hopefully someone on the first Western Caribbean cruise will come back and post dailies and you can see the days they are on before you leave.

We've been on the Epic twice and Howl at the Moon is one of our favorites. There are always two pianists and a third person who can alternate in and out - sometimes playing drums or another instrument. These people are really talented.

 

There is a wide variety of types of music and songs played - they are by request and tips help :) Sing along is lots of fun - even for those of us who can't carry a tune.
