VIFP Club question - we're now Red members

DH and I are new members of the "Red" VIFP Club. Just checked the perks and apparently, we get a complimentary beverage at Seaday Brunch. Curious to know from fellow cruisers how do we go about getting this beverage (aside from going to the Brunch)?

You will be given a paper coupon in your stateroom on the day you board.

It can be used for a specialty coffee, non alcoholic beverage, or alcoholic beverage with a price of $8.75 or less while you are dining at breakfast , brunch or lunch while in the MDR.

Present the coupon and your S&S card to redeem it. You may also need your photo identification if you order something alcoholic.

* you will get one of these coupons on every future sailing on Carnival.

Some ships set up a bar outside the dining room so you can just walk up and redeem the coupon

Take it to the entrance to the dining room when brunch is being served, join dozens of other cruisers who are doing the same thing.

 

A bar waiter will take the coupon and your order. Take you drink and bail to wherever you want.

You can also request that someone who works in the bar come to the table so that you can redeem the coupon while sitting at your table instead of waiting in a line.

We do this all the time when we want sodas during our time in the MDR.

We had cheers, so we saved ours for breakfast during disembarkation, when cheers would be over. We had to pay tax, but that worked for me!
