2016 Transatlantic Sailings ??

Hi Everyone.....Celebrity has had their 2016 Transatlantic sailings on the website for awhile. We have done many RCI cruises but never a transatlantic. We have 2 scheduled on Celebrity for 2015. We would like to do one on RCI in 2016. For the seasoned cruisers any idea when RCI puts their schedule out ?? thanks bunches.

While the routes will not be confirmed and open for booking until March or April most likely, RCI and Celebrity use agents to book their ports of call in the planning stages. These preliminary bookings with agents sometimes leave clues as to ship deployment.

 

I just spent Christmas in Nice/Monte Carlo and RCI have several bookings with the port authorities there.

 

For instance, it would appear that Brilliance will sail from Tampa on Monday the 18th of April calling on Gibraltar the 29th of April and then into Barcelona for the summer season of 2016 and does a return TA in October of 2016 leaving the med after Gibraltar on the 20th of October.

 

It would be unclear if RCI plan to have Anthem cross on the 30th of April from Bayonne to Southampton or if the new Ovation will take that route calling at Gibraltar on the 17th of May, 2016. and Villefranche on the 20th of May.

 

It is unclear if RCI will put the new Oasis class 3 in Barcelona directly or if Allure will cross again in 2016. Allure is scheduled to leave the med on the 26th of October from Gibraltar, but this could be Oasis 3 as well.

 

It is unclear if Adventure may leave San Juan on the 16th of April 2016 for Southampton for later calls scheduled currently at Copenhagen, Gibraltar and Villefranche.

 

The Serenade should leave Port Everglades on the 29th of April for Amsterdam and should arrive at a Copenhagen summer home on the 16th of May, 2016. As the dates showing for Amsterdam and Copenhagen are currently the same as 2015, this could be uncertain information and may just be copied info from the 2015 season as they are also showing Brilliance, which my sources say are in the MED. Who knows, they could even do what they did with Serenade in 2015 and take Navigator on a Galveston to Boston Caribbean sailing and then do a crossing from Boston to Copenhagen or they could do the same with Vision from Tampa.
