BK512 Posted January 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2015 For the life of me, I can't figure out where to prepay the gratuities in my account. We're sailing in just over a month, and I just wanted to get them out of the way while I was thinking about it. Can someone point out the obvious to me? Thanks!
JillySue Posted January 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2015 If you didn't tack it on in your original booking, you'll have to call. :)
serene56 Posted January 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2015 We call be cause we do not add it to the booking. I like to pay it after final payment
bar1068 Posted January 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2015 You have to call...easy peasy. Thats been our MO last several cruises, we view it as part of the cost of the cruise, but don't add it when booking for some unexplainable reason...I'll have to figure that part out someday. liquorstore Posted January 7, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2015 On the Billing page it is supposed to be included in"Taxes, Fees, and Port Expenses" (click on "?" at that spot) I can't find any better break down
legion3 Posted January 7, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 7, 2015 You can also mail that payment in and note what's it for.
CruiserFromTheRock Posted January 7, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Here's the link from Carnival about prepaid gratuities being applied to you sign & sail- http://www.carnival.com/core/faq.aspx?faq=prepaid+gratuities Liquorstore, I clicked the ? mark you mentioned and it says: Taxes, fees & port expenses could include, but are not limited to: Taxes Fees Port expenses Prepaid gratuities On our 5 day cruise, gratuities are $12/per person per day = $60 total per person. Our taxes, port fees, etc are $77.84 per person for the cruise. I wish that included pre-paid grats, but I can't imagine it does. I am going to call to clarify. Good news would be a nice thing!
