Little Buddy's Mom Posted February 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2015 No, I'm afraid not. Maybe, someday, at least we can hope.

ZoeyVictoria Posted February 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2015 We just got off LOS on Monday and found it to be the smelliest ship casino we have ever been in. The smell was there even when it was closed (embarkation afternoon, for instance). One afternoon they were pumping in a heavily scented air freshener every couple of minutes; it was as bad as the smoke odor, possibly worse. It didn't keep us out of the casino, though, and overall it was a great cruise.
paulh84 Posted February 13, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 13, 2015 Definitely alllowed. Despite some machines having a no smoking sticker placed on them? Maybe one area is smoking and half is not? I couldn't figure it out. The line for self-assist debarking ended up winding around the casino with a handful of smokers puffing in your face as you slowly moved through. Gross! ladysail2 Posted February 14, 2015 #9 Share Posted February 14, 2015 thats what happens when they stop smoking on balconys . people need someplace to smoke. non smokers cant have everything.:rolleyes::rolleyes: I'm glad they stopped the smoking on balconies. Non-smokers have the right to fresh, non-toxic air. Smokers are entitled to the same thing, but they also foul the fresh air regardless of who is also breathing that air. Smokers don't seem to understand how noxious their smoke smells to a non-smoker. Imagine having to smell the odour of skunk spray all day long? It's non-toxic but very, very pungent. That's how cigarette smoke smells to a non-smoker. Smokers have every right to smoke since it's still legal. It's too bad that they feel entitled to 'need' a place to smoke regardless of what it does to others. I do thank all the Canadian smokers for contributing overwhelmingly to our tax revenue. It's the third largest contribution that helps pay for health care, social-based services, roads, public services, etc. for which I can benefit without having to contribute a single penny. That's the simple version...but you get the point. :D
Langley Cruisers Posted February 14, 2015 #10 Share Posted February 14, 2015 I read somewhere that smoking is only allowed in certain areas of the casino Perhaps, but it doesn't matter anyway. The smoke goes everywhere. It's like having a non-peeing section of the pool! :D thats what happens when they stop smoking on balconys . people need someplace to smoke.... Yes, all of the casinos on all the ships are far smokier now since the smoking policy was revised. .

Merion_Mom Posted February 14, 2015 #13 Share Posted February 14, 2015 I read somewhere that smoking is only allowed in certain areas of the casino First of all, the smoking area is MOST of the casino. The non-smoking area is small. Second of all, having a non-smoking section in the casino is like having a non-peeing area in a swimming pool.
Irishwhiskey Posted February 14, 2015 #14 Share Posted February 14, 2015 I read somewhere that smoking is only allowed in certain areas of the casino Yes there is ,but you'll have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to it.
