National Guard/Military Discount

Recommended Posts

Do you think my husband would be eligible to receive a discount on RCCL for a summer 2016 cruise? He wouldn't be "active duty" when I book (now) but will be the first half of 2016, but not when we depart on cruise. He does have a white card.

Yes, he's eligible. He doesn't have to be activated. If the price were to ever change, I'd be eligible for a discount on my upcoming RCCL cruise. I'm a reservist. And as a reservist, I'm eligible for military discounts and OBC on Princess and Carnival.

Generally speaking, your reservist ID looks just like the active duty ID. We have NEVER had a problem.
