Kiwi Kruzer Posted March 19, 2015 Author #2 Share Posted March 19, 2015 How Cunard change a container wharf into a Cunard Cruise Terminal. Looks like a huge marquee on the wharf for the passengers .. from the bridge cam as they docked at the Jellicoe Wharf complex...

Duck Creek Posted March 19, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2015 On QM2. Yes we have a very nice white tent to go through on Jellicoe wharf. They are busing us to shed 10. The buses (or at least one bus in the wee hours) will be going 24/7. We leave on Saturday night. After all the changes we have had it ended up being a beautiful sail in and afternoon

Kiwi Kruzer Posted March 20, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted March 20, 2015 For anyone in Auckland interested in seeing QM2 sail away on Saturday evening , the Maritime Museum have organised a special sailing of the historic scow Ted Ashby. I am sure other cruise boats will be offering a sail away cruise as well. We followed QE2 out of the harbour once on a party cruise.......It was very "jolly":D:D Heres the link to the Museums tour.. http://www.maritimemuseum.co.nz/queen-mary-2-special-sailing

Kiwi Kruzer Posted March 22, 2015 Author #15 Share Posted March 22, 2015 Thanks for the photo. You have scored a glorious autumn day in the Bay today. A zoom lens sure makes a difference. Heres a grab from a shore based cam. You can just make out QM2 , almost hidden between the trees.
