Help Needed - Pier 2 Port of Honolulu Taxi Availability

We need some advice on the taxi availability at the Port of Honolulu Pier 2. Are taxis readily available or difficult to find? We need to obtain transportation from Pier 2 to the Arizona Memorial Visitor Center and wonder how difficult it is to grab a taxi. I know there is a public bus but I have no idea how far the bus stops from the pier.

Plenty of taxis available! Believe me, the taxi drivers know when there is a ship with departing passengers. TheBus.org for PH could be picked by just crossing the street.

Diva onboard, what are you planning to do with your luggage? You can't have purses, fanny packs, camera cases etc. They do allow cameras, wallets and cellphones. They mention on their website that there is storage for 3.00 per bag, but does that mean luggage or the previously mentioned items?

Storage at Pearl will only accommodate small bags, not luggage. Maybe Diva's cruise is only porting in Honolulu, not ending there, so she won't have to deal with baggage? Not sure...

We are using JohnnyCab (he can be goggled) - that way he will be waiting for us and we wont have to worry about "finding" a cab - plus his prices were really reasonable!
