knittinggirl Posted April 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) If we check our two allowed bottles of wine, will they make us visit the naughty room? Never mind, found my answer in the passenger contract. Edited April 14, 2015 by knittinggirl

Orlando Vic Posted April 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I just completed an 11-day Panama Canal cruise out of Port Everglades. We carried on two bottles and had another two (one in each bag) in checked luggage. I guessed that, with all the boarding confusion, Princess would never bother with a single bottle in a suitcase. I was right.
Colo Cruiser Posted April 14, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2015 There have not been many posts saying that they have been summoned to security regarding any wine/alcohol in checked baggage.

I was right. That's the best way to do it. If they catch the extra two in your checked luggage you'll pay the $15, if not you're ahead of the game. It's also best to split them up as you did to increase the odds of slipping them by. ;)
chrysalis Posted April 14, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 14, 2015 There have not been many posts saying that they have been summoned to security regarding any wine/alcohol in checked baggage. People we met on the Royal recently had beer taken out of their checked luggage (with a note left) but they ignored the many bottles of wine in the same bag. Rare 81Zoomie Posted April 14, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 14, 2015 We have carried on 6 bottles of wine several times. We pay the corkage and enjoy great wines at a fraction of the cost Princess would charge. At least we get to drink what we like with dinner
