We r going to nassau in June. Has anyone gone to Baha Mar. Was it worth the trip from the cruise ship

As of today still not open, they have missed 5 opening dates so far this year..

When it finally does open it will be a sight to see, a sprawling, luxury resort. I plan to visit during our Nassau stop next February. ;)

The Melia, formerly the Sheraton, is near Baha Mar on Cable Beach. We have enjoyed the Melia- it has a good website.

We stayed in several Melia hotels in Spain and had excellent experiences. One in Marbella, Spain is lovely with beautiful grounds right on the beach. :)
