Offers received from Club Royale (Royal Caribbean)

As was mentioned in the Casino Program Changes thread, some of us are not receiving promotional offers from Club Royale, and in that thread, those who had received offers were sharing the offer details with the rest of us so that we could find out whether we qualified for them as well.

I don't receive promotional emails from Royal Caribbean for some reason, but I do receive USPS mailings, so I found out about this offer.

Posting the latest offers is a good idea. However not all offers are valid for all members but it's worth a try to call and ask:)

Exactly. The woman with whom I spoke this afternoon told me that their new system that they just started using in the past week allows them to see what offers are available to Club Royale members quite easily by looking them up by name.

Marc, thank you for starting the thread and sharing the Team Slot Challenge offer, did not receive one, to date. Only receive a few smail offers, so sharing offers can be helpful. I agree with Nick that some may not apply to all of us and it is worth a phone call to CR.

The last offer I received by smail, was "Uncork the Action" approx. 2 weeks after Graham posted his offer here http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=46611701#post46611701

I'm already booked on three offers from the listing below, the Golf event, the $10,000 on Liberty & the $25,000 on Allure slot tournaments. I have a full plate this year :D

I wish I could go on all the offers they gave me. I went on a few but I have so many cruises booked I can't do them all. In March I went on the allure of the seas for free that was a beauty

We will be on the October 17 liberty slot tournament cruise

Maybe folks can post the rates they are getting if they book?

We get almost weekly emails now from the casino.

Great idea. As U know, these rates are tied to the regular rates so they fluctuate a lot. My Oct 17 LB cruise I got burned by hesitating one week after 1st checking prices. They went up $100/pp! Oh well

I ended up paying $981 total incl tax and grats for a Dexk 8 PR stateroom. But I offset much of this with a $175 CR rebate, $50 shareholder benefit, and $500 redeemed from my RCL Visa.

I do like the idea of members posting offers from CR since not everyone is receiving them, but what would anyone gain knowing what others have paid for their cruise? Don't know, just asking. Some of my discounts are for free cruises, some I pay very little $ to upgrade, others are 25% or 50% off a cruise fare. We prefer to stay in a JS or higher, especially if we have to fly. I would think CR's discounted cruise fare would be according to the level of play for each member and the availability of rooms in each category when booking.

Yesterday I did receive the same offer that Marc posted for the Team Challenge, no mention of the discount rate, just indicated an exclusive casino rate. I have to pass on this one.

While I generally think that more knowledge is a good thing, I think that we wouldn't have sufficient information to know the level of play that was required to qualify for the different deals. Of course, I'm not sure that I trust that Club Royale would have a consistently applied formula anyway. In any case, it would be necessary for each member to call Club Royale to find out what their offer would be.

The only math that I could make a guestimate on was that the rebate offered for a subsequent cruise seemed to be based approximately as $0.14/point earned during the prior cruise.

I'm not a slots player but based on your math I would have to place 700 $5 bets just to win $100 rebate?

From what evidence I've seen, that's about it for slots; I don't know how they figure rebates for table players. From what I've read, they're looking for people who make $25-50 bets since each wager takes longer than a spin on the slots.

Of course, for slots, it could also be 3,500 $1 bets, or any other combination.

I am also booked cruise for $25,000 on Allure slot tournaments :)

I'll see you on board :)

For what I have found, it seemed casino rates were anywhere from 25 - 40% less than the price on the web site. I have no idea how they calculate the price.

I tend to agree with you.

Well, maybe not the exact price of the cruise (although it is good info), but the % discount.

IMO, the rates vary as to the time of your booking, the availability of rooms in each category and your level of play. Here are a few sailings I can give you.

Liberty 10/03/15, free cruise in a D2, payed taxes, grats.

Liberty 10/17/15, 25% off in GS, $1069 pp total incls. tax & grats.

Allure 11/8/15, 40% off in GS (scored new AFT cabin), $1366 pp total incls. tax & grats.

I've never cruised RCI. But, on land based casino's they are more than willing to steal players from other casino's.

We've been Caesars diamond members for number of years. Since the same holding company owns NCL, my wife are both "hot" Casino's @ Sea members. Based on our play, we get ocean view rooms for free, other than port fees and taxes. We upgrade to balcony for a small amount.

Just wandering if RCI wants to try to steal us, hoe we'd find out? We'd be glad to try another line, as long as we don't have to pay full price for a cruise. Otherwise, why would we change?

You can contact a junket, I did that and was comped a Balcony on the Anthem of the Seas 3 nighters in March of next year. I did try to contact Royal directly but they will not help you until they see your play on their ships so that is why I contacted the junket. They used my play on NCL to give me the comp.

That sounds like a good option. If I can't contact RCI directly, then using the old end around sounds like a plan.

They have a reciprocal deal with M Life members but otherwise you'd have to let them track your play onboard. So you may end up paying for an RCL cruise (which is a darn good cruise line) to get a chance to qualify as the only way to find out

I figured as much. We got to our platinum status with NCL because we're diamond members with Caesars. They started giving us the cruises, since the same holding company owns both NCL and Caesars. Once we started playing, we didn't need Caesars comps anymore. We just call NCL now. I suppose it's the same with M-Life. We used to be M-life members, but dropped them in favor of Caesars, since they have casino's all over the country to send us to. For the RCI cruise, we may just use the junket attempt.

Just received this one after returning from Jewel

image.jpg1_zpslb8wxwyf.jpg

Host was unable to give me any more info than we already know, w.r.t New program, other than it will still be March 2016 and it will be very good.

Still got numerous Drink coupons with no limits, also received $5 match play tickets and in addition a FCC for apr 20 sailings, which must be booked within 30 Days of FCC from Casino. (Fully comped Oceanview Stateroom for 2pax)

We grossed about 5000 points this cruise, so will see what rebate we get, so can perform a calculation on future cash rebate.

I got $110 total cash from cage for the Mickey mouse side of the 5000 points calculation, and 3 more T-shirts.

Also Jewel was being fitted out with New Electronic readers on tables, better for table tracking for the future, they were not operational the week we were on, but I am sure will go live soon, hopefully this is fleet-wide.

Happy Days!
