We both received this in the mail a few days ago.  Does anyone have more information on the following:

Destination Mediterranean

Golf Tournament

Ghouls & Games Halloween Event

Suitcase Trade Up

Beach Bash

Jingle & Mingle

Maybe the actual information/details on those has not been sent out the others we have received mailers on and are booked for the Payouts on Tap promo for the Allure 8/25.

Onboard cruise right now. Last night host told me my point total, which was approximately slightly more than 2500 points more than I had pre-cruise.

This afternoon I received an envelope at my cabin with a certificate for only $100 off a future cruise booked within 30 days.

Rewards chart shows free interior cabin cruise at 2400 points.

Huh????????

Your total combined points from April 1 - March 31 2020 will apply towards your status. Since that's already Prime, you will get your free cruise next April. But for now, you earn a cruise certificate based on your level of play on the current sailing.

This mailer is a teaser of sorts to let you know what promotions are coming later this year.  We will likely get different  individual offers based on their "rating" system (Interior, Oceanview, Balcony, Jr.,. Suite, etc.) as each offer gets closer and they have a better idea of the actual number of cabins they can book through CR as their offers are capacity controlled.

If you accumulated 2,500 points on your current sailing, then yes, you should receive a certificate for a free interior. Speak to host, he/she should exchange it on the last evening of your cruise.

I have done 2 Beach Bashes. Both have been on ships going to Cozumel. Royal has a section blocked off at Playa Mia. One time was on their big patio. One time was under a tented area past their patio on their beach. Private bbq, top shelf drinks, water sports, bus in both directions, private entertainers (on guitar and singing.) Fun times!

Sounds fun make sure your booked as part of the Beach Bash offer if you have it to be able to take part in whatever is offered onboard.

Amazing!!! That's all I can say. I remain astounded that the casino host advised me at the end of the second night that I had earned slightly over 2500 points by that pint in this three night cruise.

Then during the afternoon of the third day of the cruise, I received the $100 certificate.

Before dinner (casino did not open until 5:30 pm, but tables not ready until 6:00 pm), I went and talked with the casino host, and he agreed to look into why I got the $100 certificate, as he remembered our conversation the night before.

Well, needless to say, after dinner, I went ballistic at the blackjack tables. Lost $1,700 of my profits from the first two nights, but was betting $100 min, up to $500 per hand, and only ended up with roughly 2,000 points in total for this cruise.

*****!!!!!!!! Got a $500 certificate, not even an interior room cabin cruise???????

Rewards poster:

400/800/1200/1600/2000 Points - $100/$200/$300/$400/$500 certificates

2400 Points - Interior Stateroom

3600 Points - Oceanview Stateroom

4800 Points - Balcony Stateroom

8000 Points - Junior Suite

25000 Points - Grand Suite

I cannot for the life of me understand how I went from just over 2500 points after the second night, to only approximately 2000 points at the end, knowing that I gambled straight (maybe 10-15 minute aggregate breaks between bathroom visits and switching tables) from 7:00 pm to 2:30 am, $100 min, up to $500 max bet per round, not including splits and doubles, and alternating periodically from one to two hands.

Tables are not a great way to earn points.

who knows how often they recalculate your average bet,

lets say you sit down and start playing $25 per hand for a few minutes and then bump it up to $100. if they rated you at @ 25 and then don't rerate you for 2 hours then you have only earned the points for 2 hours @$25 dollar average.

you have 1 maybe 2 pit boss's trying to watch and track 20-30 players and cash in and outs at 5-6 tables, they aren't going to be very accurate at tracking your average bet on a minute to minute basis.

according to the published formula for blackjack of 1 point per dollar of average bet per hour played.

If they rated you at $100 per hand average for 7.5 hours you would have earned ~750 points for that last night,

which if that was your biggest night gambling then 2000 points for the trip seems to be about right.

According to the casino host they have, and ships are moving toward table games to RFID chip systems. He shared with me a screen showing the raw data on his laptop from the casino’s server reflecting every round’s bet, split, and double. So contrary to what others tell me on this website, the casino hosts on both the Quantum OTS (April sailing out of Shanghai) and the Navigator OTS (Miami sailing) have told me that they track players’ bets through RFID chips.

PS - $100 rough average per hour (actually laptop indicated it was around $92+/hour) was about right for nights 1 and 2. On night 3, alternating bets from $100 min up to $500 mac, sometimes playing 2 or 3 spots at $150/$200/$250/$300, my average bet was around $145/hour.

Although I understand your reasoning, and appreciate your thoughts, it does not explain how my roughly 2500  points that the casino host shared with me after night 2, went down after night 3 (when my days’ average bet increased by approximately $50).

Not sure about RFID but they do track every hand that’s dealt. There’s a sensor over each spot where the cards are dealt. I’m not sure how RFID would work unless there were clearly marked spots where to lay the chips. In blackjack the chips could be all over the place if there’s action.

The information I received which makes sense to me is they track every hand. The only number that changes in the equation is the average bet which is entered by the pitboss. This way you don’t sit around for hours at a table and only play every third hand and annoy everybody at the table. Each time a player drops a spot or adds a spot the dealer has to key it into the computer.

Yes, but this is consistent with RFID tech, as players do not get paid only with chips reserved or their buy-ins, color changes, and pay-outs.

So, the dealer has to punch in the spots where players are betting so that the server can correlate which player (remember they use your Seapass cards for ID) is betting in which spots.

Why else would they bother tracking which spots which player is betting at, whether one hand, two hands, three, or the whole table???

if the ship has the RFID system you seem to think they have then why didn't you get the points you feel you should have?

RFID at the tables, interesting. This explains my last Liberty trip in May. I saw a junket group get their special chips. Their "play" was going to be tracked through the RFID system.

Don't even have to worry about the pit boss. Just hope he gets your card assigned to right spot at the table.

We received some great options for comped Grand Suites through offer 191RCL602.  We booked one for August on the Liberty of the Seas.  It even had a few 9 night cruises on the Anthem and Grandeur out of the east coast.  My husband and I are both Prime members so it was pretty exciting to see the generous offer.

Offer code 191RCL602, titled "Bet Max on Bold".  Anthem dates from Cape Liberty:  9 night Canada & New England, 8/29 (GS) and 9/26 (JS).  6 night Bermuda, 10/19 (GS).  5 night Bermuda 7/27 (JS).  I'll get a pic of the list on here.
