I always wondered how URcomped worked? If I get  a free oceanview or interior do they match it somehow?

Basically you create a players profile with them, and you need to disclose pretty detailed information on your gambling habits. You also send them copies of your current land based casino comped offerings and whatever cruiseline based casino comped offers you have. They will then send you offers for comped cruises on cruiselines you haven't played on. They also have offers with land based casinos such as The Golden Nugget in Vegas and others in the Bahamas.

In our URCOMPED account we get offers from Royal but we haven't tried to actually request one through them because having booked cruises directly with Club Royale I don't think Royal will approve offers through URCOMPED. Having said that I was surprised to have done a URCOMPED cruise on the Celebrity Edge (their newest and nicest ship) this past April when we were on a comped inaugural cruise on the Edge in December '18 via Blue Chip. Then again we had no other Blue Chip cruises booked, and prior to the Dec. '18 cruise it was about 18 months from the last Blue Chip comped cruise.

FWIW: Just got call from friend that completed cruise on Allure. She earned an inside cert. Went to Next Cruise. They had sale on balconies December Oasis I believe. $200 upgrade to a balcony plus the tax. That was her and her husband.

There are some great upgrades available on some sailings.  Good for your friend on their almost free balcony cabin.

Earlier tonight Casino Royale rep said Dec 15 is now fully booked for them. Dec 8 is open and inside to balcony upgrade is $322 total for 2. Guarantee is $288. This is Oasis out of Miami. Wow !

Back to "fully booked". The rep explained that the magic computer keeps track of % of ship bookings they have done. At some point the magic computer shuts them off.

Just got off the Anthem and on Day 6 I qualified for a free interior certificate which was delivered to my stateroom.   On Day 8 I qualified for the oceanview stateroom.  No certifcate was delivered but I see it is already in the system.  However I would like to know what cruises I can pick from as the list delivered to my stateroom was for interior sailings.  Does anyone have recent list of oceanview cruises?  Can this information be found on the casino royale website?

I had the same situation and contacted CR on Friday.  They emailed me the updated offerings for OV cabins which is below.

Thanks for the information.  Certainly not a good list to choose from.

It turns out that my original certificate was for an Interior and the cruise week we wanted was on the Interior list.  I evidently got enough points on the last night (after the original certificate had been issued by the Host) that when my play/points were fed into the shoreside CR system, my online offer was now an Oceanview and the week I wanted was not listed on the OV comp cruise list.  I spoke with a really good rep and she said let's price it using the trade-in value as well as downgrading the certificate to an Interior and then pricing a balcony upgrade that way as well.  It turns out that to upgrade from a comped Interior to a balcony was only $340 for both of us whereas using my trade-in value and my wife's $100 certificate, the cost for the same balcony upgrade was nearly $700.  I can't complain as we have a nice midship balcony cabin on deck 9 for a 7 night cruise for $340 plus taxes and port fees (that I would pay no matter what ship or deal I received).  It's nice to have a good rep who will help you get the best deal.

I am on that same cruise under the Mingle and Jingle offer. I asked about the “hosted gift exchange “ when I booked my cruise and was told by Casino Royale that I was not expected to bring a gift, if that helps.

We are on the Mingle and Jingle Dec. 14th on the Indy.  I also called Casino Royale and Rep said we didn't have to bring anything.  Looking forward to it.

We have been receiving various offers by mail.   Is there a way to access them on the RCL website?

Thank you.

You can go online to clubroyaleoffers.com BUT details about the offer are not available anywhere online.  If you want specific details about the specific offer you must call Club Royale.  My guess is that you already have more information (if your offers are coming by snail mail) than you would get online.

Not on RCL's web site but some people at the "Royal Caribbean Club Royale Casino Patrons Forum" on the social site that shall not be named have been posting some offers to the files section.  Others have posted photos of offers.  Time for Royal Caribbean / Casino Royale to make use of Cruise Critic and follow a recommendation made here many times which is to put the files online and provide a link to the offer on our individual offer page.

I had a lengthy discussion with an CR Executive Casino Host recently.

He agreed that their IT need to provide a hyperlink in the offers webpages to the listing of eligible sailings.

He also agreed that cruise certificates earned, should also afford those receiving them to select from lesser tier level cruise category offerings, on a first come, first select basis (but at the ascribed cabin category for those lower tier certificates - seemed quite reasonable).

Here’s hoping for a modicum of progress.

I agree with the need to hyperlink the offer codes/descriptions to the list of offerings.

I was able to select a lower tier cabin for my preferred sailing week and then upgrade for a very nominal cost.  See my post #3314 above.  It all depends on the rep you get and their knowledge and level of expertise with their reservations system.

I concur.

My sole point was that I had a face-to-face conversation with an executive casino host from Club Royale, who displayed an interest and willingness to explore various methods of making the casino program more customer friendly.
