My sole point was that I had a face-to-face conversation with an executive casino host from Club Royale, who displayed an interest and willingness to explore various methods of making the casino program more customer friendly. Understood and glad to hear that they are expressing interest in upgrading and enhancing the program. Bottom line, it is one of many revenue generators for the company and the friendlier they make it the more we will enjoy it and participate by sailing and playing. MadamG2U Posted January 3, 2020 #3253 Share Posted January 3, 2020 Hello, I got an offer from the casino with code 201rcl103/variable. Does anyone know if this is good for a Jr. or Grand Suite Thank you
teeredi2cruise Posted January 3, 2020 #3254 Share Posted January 3, 2020 @MadamG2U, I have a similar offer that came in my email, but it is R201RCL104/Variable. If it helps my offers were for OV-JS depending on the Ship and sail date. It also has a Trade in value so your offer could very well include both of the categories that you referenced. Good Luck
texasreb Posted January 3, 2020 #3255 Share Posted January 3, 2020 On Jan 2 I received R201RCL110. Looks like they were just trying to book some old ships on this one. Majesty, Enchantment, Empress, and Rhapsody. Limited dates. OV. The December offer, which I used, looked better.

Vacationcheese Posted January 4, 2020 #3257 Share Posted January 4, 2020 Wondering if Club Royal has a raffle (tickets for play) near the end of the cruise? Blue Chip Club has taken away that benefit for slot players and is now only for card players. Some not so happy big spender slot players on Celebrity. Has this also happened on Royal? Thanks! Daghis Posted January 16, 2020 Author #3261 Share Posted January 16, 2020 About a year ago, I booked a Mediterranean cruise on Explorer of the Seas for June 21, 2020. Ever since trying a suite for the first time, we've become "suite snobs", so we booked a grand suite for that cruise. We booked that cruise while onboard, so we qualified for $500 in onboard credit. Woohoo! Then, in November, Casino Royale sent out an offer for a complimentary oceanview cabin on selected Alaskan or European sailings (19EXO103), including this one. I had my TA check into it and I was able to save about $2,000 off the price by getting the free oceanview cabin and then upgrading it to the grand suite. I did lose the $500 in onboard credit, though, but that was still a win. I was then quite surprised to receive another "Alaska & Europe Special Offer" (20EXO102) for a complimentary balcony stateroom on selected sailings, again including this one. So, another email to my TA who called up Casino Royale (who's probably grown quite tired of hearing from her!), and I got another $800 off our booking! Double woohoo! My TA did tell me that Casino Royale's policy is that all complimentary bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking. The original booking was the deposit only, and the switch to the complimentary oceanview offer in November didn't trigger any such mention. Nonetheless, Casino Royale said that it needed to be paid in full now. It's close enough to final payment that I'm okay with that, but it surprised me to hear that. That is normal for Casino Royale bookings. You got the offers because you gambled enough on that trip to qualify for them. All bookings through Casino Royal must be paid in full per their terms and conditions. You can see all of your offers online at their website clubroyaleoffers.com. Daghis Posted January 16, 2020 Author #3263 Share Posted January 16, 2020 Thanks for the reply, @mariemacdonald! Yeah, I know about the ClubRoyaleOffers.com site, but it's not terribly useful since they don't say which sailings they apply to. Fortunately, I have been getting the emailed offers regularly these days, so I'm able to take advantage of the offers when I can.

I had a CR rep tell me that on fully comped cruises where we only pay port fees and taxes that there is no penalty if we would have to cancel or change as the fees and taxes are always refundable. I don't know what canceling would do to future CR offers but that's a whole different subject.

I went back and looked - 9 Royal Caribbean cruises so far, earned a certificate every cruise, allowed 6 of the 9 certificates to lapse unused. I find the mailings (postal and email) offers are more than enough for me to find something I want. In 2020's first 6 weeks I have received 11 different offer lists by mail or email. peymas Posted February 14, 2020 #3272 Share Posted February 14, 2020 Like you Wally Alligator we don’t use ours either. Snail mail comes very often and email too. Got off of Harmony with a balcony cert and didn’t use. Just got off Carnival with a balcony cert and didn’t use that one either. I need to move to Florida! We are so booked up with the mail offers (at least one a week) its hard to use the onboard certificates. I used to get prior bookings adjusted but that doesn't happen much anymore because they adjust off the current rates and the difference in fare increases is more than the certificate is worth. Plus it costs me more in air than the cruise costs!

texasreb Posted March 15, 2020 #3275 Share Posted March 15, 2020 (edited) My March 29 cruise got cancelled. Of course it was a Casino Royale comp, except for my cash part. Here is part of an email from Casino Royale: "Unfortunately, at this time, we are not extending, or reactivating, Club Royale offers on cancelled bookings." Well that kind of stinks. So I just lost a cruise sailing that I played in the casino to get. I didn't cancel it. YOU cancelled it.
