Port Everglades to MIA earliest post-cruise flight

Recommended Posts

apologizing in advance, could not find this question posted even though i'd bet a lot someone already asked....

what's the earliest RECOMMENDED/possible flight out of MIA after a cruise ending at Port Everglades?

I can get an AA flight with points out of MIA, but all the FLL points flights are gone.....

I would book a flight around 12:30 PM.

Yes, this question is asked often but no worries.

The ride from PE to MIA takes about an hour. I second the above recommendation for flights after 12:30

I would have stressed!! Thanks all. I booked a 2pm flight out of MIA. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get to MIA cheaply. Looks like a Princess transfer might actually be reasonably priced. Any suggestions? :):)

I think that is probably the cheapest unless you want to rent a car

I was stressed along with a few others :D

My flight leaves MIA at 1:30. According to Carnival's website, the shuttle runs 12:00 - 6:00 pm. Not time to get to MIA for my flight. Doesn't make sense.

Take a cab or book a later flight.

According to Carnival's flight guidelines for Ft Lauderdale

http://www.carnival.com/cruise-transfers/ft-lauderdale.aspx

their transfer will take you from Port Everglades to MIA for flights departing at 12:00 or later. Don't know where you got your information: shuttles from port to airport only run the first couple hours after arrival; by 12:00 they will be only taking passengers from airport to the ship.

What are the flight guidelines for the latest airport arrivals and earliest return flights?

LATEST FLIGHT ARRIVAL:

Latest flight arrivals into Ft. Lauderdale Airport or Miami International Airport: 2:00pm

EARLIEST FLIGHT DEPARTURE:

Earliest flight departures out of Ft. Lauderdale Airport or Miami Internatonal Airport: 12:00pm
