Splendor the Seas..mini Review 8/26/05

Recommended Posts

This will just be a short review...cruised with my DH 55, and DS 23 and 24.

Got on in 5 minutes at 11:30.

Grand Suite with cabin attendent wayan was wonderful ..could do world cruise with the storage space. The biggest bathroom we have even had on a cruise. Under the pool deck. Glad I brought ear plugs for the night that there was a band playing..

Ship was spotless,,very very clean.

Calm..no flat seas..didnt' need Bonine etc..

Ports intensive...Loved the ships Aix in Provance tour...had a great Sunday Flea market.Did Nice on our own thanks to all the good tips we got here. Walked up and got the bus both ways..Loved the old Market. The boys went to beach in Ville France and liked it too.

Did Rome and Florence with ships "on your own tour as we had been there before. Got to see the Pope in Rome which was an extra thrill.

In Naples did a car tour with SAlvatore of Driverinamalphi...again thanks to these boards..He was fabulous!!very accomodating and professional. We learned so much about the area and we had a great lunch.

Food overall good to very good. Service outstanding...everyone was so friendly. No Quest in europe so sad.

The boys had a great time and so did we. a really happy memory. Thanks for all the great tips etc. Glad we order a car for the pier in Barcelona! Long cab line.
