ferk29 Posted March 7, 2017 #651 Share Posted March 7, 2017 There is definitely a lack of pool space onboard the joy. Taking reference to the the re-positioning cruise on the Genting Dream from Singapore to Hong Kong, there was hardly anyone using the pool deck. Due to the hot weather climate in Asia, they rather hide in the air-con areas of the ship. This is sue to a cultural thing. Chinese people don't like sun bathing and getting tan. For them white/pale skin is a symbol of beauty and social status. Women in chine use umbrellas to avoid the sun during summer, so this ship being planned for the chinese market, it doesn't have many sun areas. In fact in the main pool area, they have a park concept with a pool sideways so it gets shade most of the timw

FreestyleNovice Posted March 15, 2017 Author #653 Share Posted March 15, 2017 Why testing your fire control system with water sucked from the shallow and muddy shipyard's bassin isn't a clever idea..

Rare steamboats Posted March 22, 2017 #657 Share Posted March 22, 2017 Ems conveyance... According to an article in NOZ yesterday it´s still not clear and Meyer prefers Sunday. But I just saw a post on a German board now saying: 27th 00:00 start 27th 07:00 Jann-Berghaus-bridge 27th 13:00 Ems-Sperrwerk Not sure how reliable that information is. But the webcam on the Meyerwerft Website is online. steamboats

TheDougOut Posted March 24, 2017 #666 Share Posted March 24, 2017 Promotional video clip for Joy Possible that was shot on a different ship? I'm not sure I saw anything uniquely "Joy" other than go-karts, and that had an odd close-up angle. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

The cart track doesn't seem to have the white markings and a long stretch of tarmac. :) But fun to watch.. :D
