Golf carts in Progreso

Anyone rented a golf cart in Progreso? If so, how was it?

We've been to there two dozen times, and as recently as September and have never seen a golf cart. Where would you go on one?

Honestly... no idea :)

 

Just looking around and saw they rent golf carts close to the beach so was just wondering.

Trying to figure out what we want to do in Progreso... can't figure it out yet.

The excursions we liked the most were Uxmal and Ochill (sp) and Salsa and Salsa.

 

Since Progresso is on the gulf side of the Yucatan Peninsula the water is more cloudy, so snorkeling is not a good option. Excursions that herd you to the Reef Club are crowded in my opinion. We also liked the Jaguar Bike excursion, the intro to paddle boarding was the best part.
