CruiseForever Posted September 30, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2005 Nice article in "USA Today", summer tourism is up 10% over last year from the United States. People are quoted as saying that the fears created by all the rightous folks demanding a boycott have not materialized. Glad to see that most Americans are more intelligent than those, who have adovacted a boycott of Aruba.......Personally, I'd rather boycott Alabama, especially since it had taken them over 30 years to solve some civil rights crimes and some as yet unsolved. smoothdancer Posted October 2, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2005 We just returned from Aruba on Friday. In my eyes, I did not notice any less tourists from the same time last year. The resturants were full, as were all the other attractions. It was not even a consideration to cancel our annual visit to Aruba, and from the looks of things, I think most share my point of view.
