TheDougOut Posted November 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 25, 2015 "Service in general is inconsistent. Wait service varies from slow and begrudging to friendly and efficient; we were surprised that we received the best service in complimentary venues onboard, such as Taste, Margaritaville and O'Sheehan's." Just curious on this one, as I didn't see mention that the review was based on an early sailing, which it obviously was. It seemed a bit odd to read this as present tense, without mention that this particular experience may have been impacted because of an inaugural (or close to it) run. What's CC's typical routine for revisiting a ship and updating (confirming or debunking) findings like this?
Brittany C Posted November 25, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted November 25, 2015 Hello, Fair question. It is unfortunately based on short preview sailings, but we taken member reviews into account throughout the course of the review process, and we also try to get onboard for a full, and 'typical' sailing as soon as we can to update the review and make sure the various components still hold up. Thanks for the question. ~Brittany Chrusciel
Taclin01 Posted November 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 25, 2015 Can you make dinner reservations prior to sailing or is it done as soon as you get on board?
Rare BirdTravels Posted November 26, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 26, 2015 Can you make dinner reservations prior to sailing or is it done as soon as you get on board? You can book online 90 days ahead of time (100 days for suites). They only open a portion of available seats, so book early to get your preferred dining times. If they are sold out, then book as soon as you get on board. You can use the touch screens in public areas, your stateroom TV, the iConcierge app on your smartphone. Other ways include stopping by at restaurant reservations at Guest Services or push the reservations number on your stateroom phone.
