Hi Experts!

I have a few questions after reading through everyone's posts and reviews. Thank you for those, as well as any additional info you might share! Always love to hear about anything else I might not ask as well!

1) Can our onboard credit from Celebrity be used to purchase an internet package?

2) What brands of bottled water are covered by the premium beverage package? Any amazing drinks you'd like to share?

3) Where did you spend your day time on board? Worth paying for any upgraded areas?

4) Times/cost/packages for the spin class?

5) Any nights/events that you think a 30-somthing or 40-something would LOVE? (Dancing, comedy, etc).

6) Any bartenders or other service folk that blew you away?

7) How about wine/liquor classes and tastings? Anything that was AMAZING?

8) Great or horrible menu items? We Are in a 1B cabin, so no access to the suite areas.

9) What was that thing you found on day 6/7 that you wish you found on day 1?

Thanks Again!

We spent 23 days aboard Reflection last April. See below.

Hi Experts!

I have a few questions after reading through everyone's posts and reviews. Thank you for those, as well as any additional info you might share! Always love to hear about anything else I might not ask as well!

1) Can our onboard credit from Celebrity be used to purchase an internet package?

Yes! It can be used for ANYTHING on board - jewelry, art, gambling, drinks, specialty restaurants - ANYTHING!

2) What brands of bottled water are covered by the premium beverage package? Any amazing drinks you'd like to share?

Don't know.

3) Where did you spend your day time on board? Worth paying for any upgraded areas?

So many activities, hard to choose what you wanted to do next. Persian Garden is nice for an extra cost Zen experience.

4) Times/cost/packages for the spin class?

Don't know. You can use your OBC to pay for classes.

5) Any nights/events that you think a 30-somthing or 40-something would LOVE? (Dancing, comedy, etc).

Try them all.

6) Any bartenders or other service folk that blew you away?

All the staff is wonderful.

7) How about wine/liquor classes and tastings? Anything that was AMAZING?

It's all amazing and good.

8) Great or horrible menu items? We Are in a 1B cabin, so no access to the suite areas.

You must try Q-sine Specialty Restaurant (we ate there three times!). Ask for Eva as your server. You won't be sorry! I hope she is still on-board!

9) What was that thing you found on day 6/7 that you wish you found on day 1?

Only that day 7 was really day 1 all over again! Enjoy!

Thanks Again!

Just off the Reflection last week.

Water available is Avian and other similar waters.

Many great bar people, favorite at Martini bar was GEDDE and at Ensemble there were two, both good one was a young woman and the other was a young man. Sorry can not name them. Entertainment was awesome at the Ensemble Johnny Mantra and Woman Duo were great. Skipped shows to listen to them. Johnny can play anything and do it well.

We had lots of credit, but did not go to a speciality restaurant because food in Select was great.

Wine steward surprised me each night with a different red. Good wines. Premium package.

Had 200 dollars left and went to Casino and cashed out. 5% charge.

Great cruise and am going again Jan 9th

I mostly drank mudslides by the pool. I bought my Yeti tumbler so they stayed nice and cold till i was finished.

3) Where did you spend your day time on board? Worth paying for any upgraded areas? We spent our time by the main pool mostly, sometimes in the sun sometimes in the shade. There are some neat hammock type things up near the solarium.

There was a Jonnie Walker scotch tasting, my husband was the only one that showed up LOL. He also did one of the wine tastings, he enjoyed that also. Wanted to do the Reidel tasting but we missed it.

8) Great or horrible menu items? We Are in a 1B cabin, so no access to the suite areas.

9) What was that thing you found on day 6/7 that you wish you found on day 1? I wish we would have checked out the Sky Lounge during the day, we only went one night when it was the night club.

Thanks Again!

Also, on the Thursday, there was a special in the spa. Three mix and match treatments for $129 (50 minutes total, so mini treatments). Plus 18% gratuity.

See my answers below in red. We were just on the Reflection for 2 weeks. I wrote a rather long review you can read as well which I posted yesterday.

Hi Experts!

I have a few questions after reading through everyone's posts and reviews. Thank you for those, as well as any additional info you might share! Always love to hear about anything else I might not ask as well!

1) Can our onboard credit from Celebrity be used to purchase an internet package? Yes, you can.

2) What brands of bottled water are covered by the premium beverage package? Any amazing drinks you'd like to share? Evian is the most common and covered under the premium drink package. We mostly drank Pellegrino and that is covered under the premium.

Special Drinks: At Martini Bar I like the "Blu Martini." Stop by Molecular and see Chairul and Johnny. Get the "Grass is Greener" it is spicy! It will be covered under your Premium Package.

If you love Mojitos, seek out Iva at the passport bar and have her make HER mojito. She will need fresh lime juice for this and she won't have it behind the bar, so you'll need to bring her some from Molecular. Trust me, its worth the hassle.

3) Where did you spend your day time on board? Worth paying for any upgraded areas?

No upgraded areas to worry about outside of the Persian Gardens. We spent most of our time at / near the pool bar during the day. The Solarium is very relaxing as well.

4) Times/cost/packages for the spin class?

Not sure. When you first get on the ship, head to the gym which is on 12. They'll have plenty of people there doing an "open house" and you can ask questions and get schedules for anything you want.

5) Any nights/events that you think a 30-somthing or 40-something would LOVE? (Dancing, comedy, etc).

Go to FRISKY FEUD. It will be held at 11pm probably on the second night in Celebrity Central. Alexander hosts it. You'll have great fun. I'll post a quick video of it to my review later today.

There are "moving nightclubs" which switch places every night. My favorite from Cellar, which was held in Cellar masters towards the middle of the cruise. Check out the different "nightclubs" known as SocietyX every night. Depending on ship crowd they can be hit or miss but worth checking out.

6) Any bartenders or other service folk that blew you away?

Chairul and Johnny at Molecular bar. Hands down the absolute best. Iva is awesome. You'll see her at the poolbar and passport bar. Ensemble is a great bar too. My favorite there is a guy named Alfred (they call him Alfredo).

7) How about wine/liquor classes and tastings? Anything that was AMAZING?

We didn't go to any this cruise, but have in the past. They're definitely fun and always informative.

8) Great or horrible menu items? We Are in a 1B cabin, so no access to the suite areas.

We ate in Luminae (suite restaurant) and specialties the entire time. If you want a GREAT deal, consider the ultimate dining package. You can only buy it on the ship. It is $30per person / per day, but you can eat at the specialties unlimited for dinner and for lunch (Bistro on 5 and The Porch). On the last sea day, two of the main specialties (Usually Lawn Club & Murano) will be open for lunch as well.

If you hit Murano get the Dover Sole or Lobster. If you hit Tuscan Grill definitely try the Filet Mignon and on appetizers get the calamari and short rib raviolis.

9) What was that thing you found on day 6/7 that you wish you found on day 1?

Great question! We've been on the Reflection and other S class ships 8 times so we know them well and there is not much we haven't found, with the exception or running into amazing people or bartenders. My recommendation is take a morning when it is not crowded, maybe your first morning and walk the entire ship. Start on deck 4 (deck 3 is pretty self explanatory and most cabins with the exceptions of foyer and passport bar) and walk from the forward to the aft and work your way up the ship.

Have a wonderful cruise!!

Thanks Again!

7) How about wine/liquor classes and tastings? Anything that was AMAZING?

We did the Reidel tasting, which lets you compare how the shape of the wineglass can affect your experience with the wine. I had wanted to do this, but the online price (over $90/person) and the lack of information online (date/time of event) gave me pause. That price includes four Reidel Vinum glasses, so it may be a good value if you're in the market for high-quality glassware.

But, we stopped by Cellar Masters on embarkation day, and they were offering the same seminar for roughly $17/person without the glassware purchase. Sold and sold! It was held at noon on our second day at sea ... and then we had dinner booked at Murano that night, so we had fresh knowledge of the Reidel glassware used during our meal.

We did the Reflection, boarding Dec 5th. If the Molecular Bar is still open, try the tanned Russian. It's fantastic!

I booked an alcove for a sea day. We didn't see a lot of people using them and it was too warm out (we're from Wisconsin), so we cancelled it.

We LOVED Qsine! We had unlimited specialty dining and went our second night, and it was SO good we booked another night.

We took an impressionist painting class through the Art Studio and it was a lot of fun. Neither of us are artistic, especially me :)

We spent a lot of time at the sunset bar, which we really liked. Note that on half the side of the boat at the sunset bar, smoking is allowed.

Husband is always reluctant to get massages. We got deep tissue massages from Atina and Nicky and they were great and even HE was a fan!
