i know 2x meant twice, but what i was confused about is why someone would say bummer when you get to go to such a beautiful place twice. :confused::confused:

Because they were supposed to go somewhere else. May have had plans that need changing, lots of reasons

A little closer to the $12 that was mentioned that RCI gives Haiti pp for the port call at Labadee. Why do I get this feeling that RCI is taking from the Labadee refund to make up for loses on taxes at other ports? Having a fixed fee at Labadee and somewhat variable ones at commercial ports makes sense.

 

We must have got hosed... We only received a refund of $4.56 in port fees per person.
