I read on a world cruise blog that the tender is being repaired in Auckland, to be returned to the ship before departure today.

Thank you for the update . That is good news.

Its amazing what they can do in a day ....if they have to. They will probably be paying top dollar for an emergency job, but that fades into insignificance as far as safety at sea is concerned.:)

Yes, that was my thinking, Auckland seemed to be the best spot for the repairs. Wouldn't want to have any issues and be one tender down as well.

It would be mid - high twenties this time of year, but of course that is always variable.

That grab was in the morning. The sun came out and burnt the cloud away. No rain that day . :) As Mic says high 20's , but our weather forecasters always cover themselves...Fine and sunny with the odd chance of showers.:D
